Monika Bańka
Monika Banka holds a Master of Arts degree in international relations and has completed a series of training sessions on international trade relations organized by the Polish Ministry of Economy. With over 10 years of experience in the international arena in Brussels, she has demonstrated her expertise and leadership. During her tenure of over 5 years leading the Regional Office in Brussels, Monika focused on fostering and maintaining the region’s relations with EU institutions and other regional offices. She has cultivated strong networks with regional representations and institutions, actively promoting and supporting the region’s interests in Brussels.
Throughout her career, Monika has been involved in planning and managing projects related to SME internationalization, regional development, and Horizon initiatives. Additionally, she has gained valuable experience in the private sector.
In her current role as the Network and Policy Coordinator at the European Chemical Regions Network, Monika oversees member relations and drives the network’s policy development and advocacy efforts. Collaborating closely with both regions and EU institutions, she plays a vital role in bridging the European and regional dimensions of policymaking while also raising awareness of EU initiatives and funding opportunities.
