MICHALIS ANTONIOU Director General of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB)
Born in 1964 in Nicosia, holder of a Law Degree (LLB) from Athens University and of a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff.

Worked as a lawyer until 1991 when recruited by OEB as an Industrial Relations and Labour Legislation Officer. Promoted to the position of the Director of the Industrial Relations and Social Policy Department in 2000, to Assistant Director General in 2007 and was appointed Director General in 2016.

Member of the European Economic and Social Committee since 2004, member of the Executive Committee of BusinessEurope since 2016 as well as of several national Committees and Bodies such as the Labour Advisory Body and the Board of Directors of the Human Resource Development Authority.
