Rainer Svacinka (RS) is an IPMA certified project manager. With a background in food- and biotechnology, he develops, manages and consults several international research and development projects as well as educational projects. His main focus is on projects funded by national funding schemes, Horizon Europe and Erasmus+. Since 2007 he has been supporting universities, research organisations SMEs and Industry in developing their research agenda and aligning it with H2020, Erasmus+ program and national funding schemes. He works as a trainer on research project management at the applied university in Vienna as well as in the coaches and mentoring programme of the IPMA and assessor of the national young project excellence awards. As a CEO of sumo technologies and Presto Tech Hub he supports international innovative start-ups in securing grants in Austria and Europe (including EIC funding).
