Mine Yücel, born in 1977, received a double major in Mathematics and Economics from the United States between 1993-1997. After the completion of her Master’s degree in International Relations, also in the US, Mine Yücel returned to Cyprus in 1999.
Between 1999 and 2001, she worked as a lecturer.
In 2002, she founded Prologue Consulting Ltd, a consulting and research company.
In 2009, she founded the Center for Migration, Identity and Rights Studies (CMIRS), a think tank.
Under the umbrella of Prologue and CMIRS, she has carried out research on many topics such as the Cyprus Problem, human trafficking, human rights, democracy, transparency, corruption, etc. and authored and published numerous articles on the Cyprus Problem.
In 2007, she was chosen to be one of the ‘100 Courageous Women’ worldwide by the US State Department, and in 2019, she was awarded the ‘Point of Light’ award by the United Kingdom.
She is currently working as the director of Prologue Consulting and CMIRS.
