Josip Ivanovic joined the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub in November 2023 as the Information Integrity and Youth Engagement Specialist, bringing a wealth of experience in human rights, investigative journalism, youth empowerment, and international development.
Prior to joining UNDP, Josip worked as a Civil Affairs Officer at the UN Mission in Kosovo, where he gained valuable insights into the complexities of post-conflict societies. He also served as a Senior Advisor on Communities at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, focusing on building bridges between diverse communities and promoting intercultural dialogue.
Josip’s career has been marked by his commitment to research and advocacy. He has conducted extensive research on transitional justice and war crimes prosecution, contributing to the understanding of these critical issues.
Josip holds a doctoral degree in political philosophy.
