Dimitrios Cavouras
Dimitrios is a researcher on East Mediterranean energy resources and on diaspora in the Middle East. His research in Chatham focuses on the Eastern Mediterranean energy cooperation and its role in promoting peace and regional conflict resolution. Currently he is an Associate Fellow in Chatham House Leadership Academy, prior to that he worked as an adviser at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Library of Alexandria). He also managed the Euro-Mediterranean Civil Society Network at the Anna Lindh Foundation.
Dimitrios holds an MA in Mediterranean Studies from the University of Peloponnese and the Institute of International Relations (Panteion University of Athens), and a postgraduate diploma in Development Studies from Middlesex University. Since 2015, he has been a board member of the Greek Community of Alexandria Egypt.
