James Ker-Lindsay is a visiting professor at the University of Kent. Before this, he was a senior research fellow and visiting professor at the European Institute, London School of Economics and held posts at Boston University, Wake Forest University, the University of Pristina and the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius. His work focuses on secession and state recognition as well as conflict, peace and security in Southeast Europe. Altogether, he has published 15 books and over 70 articles and book chapters on Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, and the Balkans. In addition to his academic work, he has considerable policy and media experience. He now lives in Cyprus and runs a YouTube Channel exploring international relations, conflict, and security.
